L’Atelier offers 127 apartments, from studios to private bedrooms in shared apartments. Each apartment includes an equipped kitchen with a fridge, ceramic hob, microwave, storage, crockery kit, and cleaning kit. It also features a desk with a chair, a table with two seats, and a 120 x 200 cm bed with a pillow and duvet. A linen kit, a cupboard, and a bathroom with a shower, washbasin, towel dryer, and toilet are also provided. In a resolutely modern style, the apartments are warm and sunny. They are real cocoons conducive to sharing and creativity that you can decorate as you wish.

The rent includes a furnished apartment. A linen kit is provided on arrival, with a linen change per month. Common charges, cold and hot water are also included. Unlimited access to the Internet is offered. Concerning the coliving room, electricity and heating are included in the rent.

Welcome to L’Atelier: this exceptional place to live is a renovated conversion of an old building dating back to 1898, designed by the local architect Pierre Lamaizière.

Located in the heart of a quiet residential area and only 10 minutes away from the city center of Saint-Etienne, the residence is surrounded by numerous shops and is easily accessible by tramway or bus.

The biggest asset of the residence: overhung by large metal beams the 1200 m2 outdoor space hugs the backside of the residence. This huge space offers residents a wide range of activities: a basketball court, a badminton court, a bowling alley, a collaborative garden, an outdoor courtyard and its chill zone, as well as a place to host events and parties organized by the manager.

In a resolutely modern decoration combining original pipes, soft colors and raw materials, the 250m² common areas are conducive to friendly exchanges and conviviality. The residence’s numerous bay windows allow the apartments and common areas to receive plenty of light on a daily basis.

L’Atelier student residence is open to students from all over the world. Whether they’re following university courses, private school training, internships or work-study.
