UXCO Student has chosen to open its UXCO Student Le Lab residence on the outskirts of Loos, very close to the “Capital of Flanders”. Just over 400 furnished apartments are available for rent, close to strategic locations. From studettes to large T5s, all are APL-eligible. Just 5 minutes from the Lille lez Lille SNCF train station, and 20 minutes from the Lille Flandres train station (line 1) via the Oscar Lambret metro, the residences are ideally located in and around Lille. Two brand-new student residences are about to open in Villeneuve d’Ascq, just outside Lille: UXCO Student Station 59 and UXCO Student Babylone. Less than 20 minutes from Lille city center, its teaching centers, business districts and daily hustle and bustle, the Le Lab, Station 59 and Babylone residences offer a privileged living environment that is attracting more and more students.

Located at 3 Rue Jules Driessens, just twenty minutes by public transport from the University of Lille, the UXCO Student Le Lab residence offers you much more than just a student room – it’s real student accommodation, in a brand new building. 118 units are available for rent, and all are APL-eligible. You can choose between a cosy, furnished studio apartment with a bedroom area, fully-equipped kitchen and private bathroom, or a large T2 or T3 apartment with a bedroom area, fully-equipped kitchen and private bathroom. You can even choose the floor of your apartment. Each apartment is fully furnished and equipped, so all you have to do is bring your own home decor and suitcases.
Located 10 minutes by metro from downtown Lille, the UXCO Student Babylone residence is perfectly served by the metro (2-minute walk from Jean-Jaurès metro station). Surrounded by green spaces, the residence enjoys a quiet environment close to the city’s major centers of higher education (CEAC, Université de Lille Campus Pont de Bois, etc.).
Offering nearly 200 homes, the residence features apartments ranging from studio to T2. You’ll be close to lots of useful places like shopping centers, bars and restaurants – ideal for your student life, don’t you think?

Housing Search Tips
Plan ahead and start your search as early as possible, especially if you’re a student. Housing can go quickly, especially during the back-to-school period. Find out about different neighborhoods: Lille has a variety of neighborhoods, each with its own charm. For example, research the neighborhoods that match your preferences in terms of atmosphere and amenities.
Next, draw up a budget and set the maximum amount you’re prepared to spend each month. Don’t forget to take into account additional charges such as water, electricity and Internet. Note that in some of our residences these charges are already included in the rent – pretty cool, don’t you think?
What about the deposit?
At UXCO Student, if you don’t have a guarantor, you can go through the Garantme organization to have your application accepted and reserve your accommodation.
Location and access to amenities
We’re not going to lie, the location of your home needs to be convenient to your university, school or workplace. The same goes for accessibility to public transport and proximity to shops and supermarkets.
