Nantes contains a clever mix of heritage buildings, contemporary monuments and green spaces.
The city of French writer Jules Verne has retained its authentic heritage (the port, the St Peter and Paul Cathedral, the Château of the Dukes of Brittany, Beaujoire Park with its rose garden) while modernising its environment thanks to the skill and talent of contemporary artists. Nantes is attracting more and more students, thanks to its quality of life, employment prospects, cultural offerings and the excellence in all things digital that has earned it French Tech accreditation.
It has 56,585 students and its university is composed of three University Technology Institutes, a graduate school, a polytechnic school of engineering and four disciplinary areas (Law and Economic and Management Science, Languages, Literature and Humanities, and Health). It has a mild, pleasant climate and no shortage of leisure opportunities: the Château des Ducs, the Machines of the Island, the botanical gardens, and the Jules Verne Museum, not to forget the obligatory stroll through Quartier Buffay, the student district teeming with cafés, bars and restaurants. And don't hesitate to use public transport to get around. An annual pass costs €280 and a monthly pass is €41.

Bus line 77 also serves the residence. It offers 152 apartments for rent. The brand new Pixel residence is located in the Nantes Erdre district, a stone's throw from the École Nationale Supérieure Mines and the École de Design. It offers 189 apartments for rent, from studios to one-bedroom units. Several types of housing are available in all the residences.
